There are many reasons to choose our practice. We are a multi-specialty practice with premiere specialists, who are trained in different areas of the eyes. The entire staff at Limberg Eye Surgery is dedicated to helping patients achieve their vision goals and live healthier, happier lives. Whether you need Laser Vision Correction, a glaucoma screening, or a contact lens fitting, we will find the right vision solution for you. Below are just a few of the reasons to choose us.

Education & Training

All of the doctors at Limberg Eye Surgery must be highly trained in cornea and refractive eye care as well as general eye health.

Our doctors are highly experienced. Dr. Limberg specializes in cornea and refractive surgeries. He has been in practice for over 20 years and has performed over 10,000 laser vision procedures. Additionally, for lens procedures involving multifocal lens technology, few surgeons in the region have performed close to the number of multifocal related procedures that he has. His proficiency is not only geared toward superior short-term results but his meticulous surgical techniques are also aimed at avoiding potential longer-term complications such as capsular lens opacification (secondary cataracts) and retinal problems. Additionally, our retinal specialists have a wealth of experience in dealing with retinal issues.

Advanced Technology

Limberg Eye Surgery utilizes the latest technological advances to provide patients with the best available care, not only with respect to innovative surgical techniques and technologies but also with respect to state-of-the-art testing modalities for use during a patient’s regular office check-up. For Laser Vision Correction procedures, Limberg Eye Surgery uses the Wavelight EX 500 laser, the most technologically advanced, FDA approved laser technology available in the United States. This technology includes the latest custom corneal treatments that incorporate an infrared eye-tracking system and “Wave-Front” diagnostics to track and treat the smallest of visual errors, high order aberrations. The Wavelight EX 500 laser is considered the safest, fastest and most accurate laser available. We offer this treatment in the comfort and convenience of Limberg Eye Surgery's own LASIK center. For cataract and multifocal procedures, our surgeons utilize the most up-to-date lens technology, such as the PanOptix or Vivity multifocal implants, or the astigmatic corrective PanOptix Toric lens, to help patients achieve a broad range of vision. Finally, for in-office diagnoses, Limberg Eye Surgery utilizes the latest imaging testing technologies available. For example, to screen for glaucoma, we use the scanning laser polarimetry (GDX), the optical coherence tomography (OCT III), and confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy (HRT II) to map the eye’s optic nerve and internal structures.

Patient Satisfaction

Dr. Limberg has been successfully performing corneal and refractive surgery for over 20 years. His patients express an extremely high rate of satisfaction and are our biggest source of new patient referrals. At Limberg Eye Surgery we pride ourselves on putting the patient first. The entire staff at Limberg Eye Surgery is dedicated to providing the best possible eye care to our patients, helping them achieve the highest quality of vision available to them. We are committed to understanding each patient’s health concerns, lifestyle needs and vision goals in order that we can help each patient realize those goals and lead a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle. We work hard to build and maintain patients’ trust in order to achieve these goals. An important part of our mission is patient education. We want to ensure that each patient understands his or her particular eye condition, the treatment options available, and the potential outcomes, including both the benefits and the risks of any procedure. We also believe that educating patients about the ways in which they can help themselves achieve their vision goals (such as following pre-operative and post-operative instructions and generally living a healthier lifestyle) is a critical part of our mission. We strive to answer our patients’ questions in the office and to provide further resources (such as the Patient Education portion of our website) for patients before and after they leave the office. We truly believe that the better informed the patient is, the better the doctor-patient relationship is, and ultimately the better the outcomes and care will be.
